Tracking down an ex-partner for child support

Here at Private Detectives UK we often get asked to track down individuals that are not paying child maintenance often when couples split and children are involved things can become a nightmare and even after things have been put in place from the court to make regular payments it is not uncommon for people to go to extra lengths to avoid paying this money such as moving house or not providing up to date contact details.

What do I do once I have found the new address?

Once we have a confirmed address, the first thing you need to do is contact the CSA (Child Support Agency) and notify them of your ex-partner’s new residence, and they can then contact them to arrange the monies owed.

How long does the trace take to complete?

With an address trace, we always allow up to one week to complete the investigation.

Do you operate on a no-win/no-fee basis?

We do not work on a no-win/no fee basis, unfortunately, due to the up-to-date systems we use, which, of course, cost money to utilise. We are very transparent with our fees, and we charge the client a fixed cost in order to locate an individual.

Why choose us?

We have worked on hundreds of cases to locate missing individuals, and we have access to tracing systems which allow us to verify individuals’ addresses, and we have a very high success rate.

For more information on the other types of investigations we conduct, please take a look at our investigations page on Investigations & Background Checks, or if you wish to speak to someone in more detail regarding your case, please contact us on 0203 633 2458
